Tudor Today
An ongoing renovation of a private residence, inspiration for this project is taken from the original Tudor revival style of this early-1900's property.
Structural changes were made to reduce the number of enclosed rooms and transform them into more modern open spaces. The foyer area was enlarged to provide a grander entrance into the home, and the kitchen area is doubled from before to include a breakfast nook for the multi-generation family client.
To accommodate hybrid working needs of current and future occupants, the 1st floor includes two private offices with access to daylight. In total, this home features five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Where possible, existing interior features of the house were kept to preserve its originality. Finishes and materials were selected to compliment the existing design features and bring it up to date.
