This project for a client involved the transformation of a duplex rental property into a single-family dwelling for the purpose of resale. The idea was to introduce a unique European inspired style to the immediate market area while appealing to a wide audience.

Structural changes were made to the 1st floor to create an open kitchen to the main living space, and a kitchen and laundry room were removed on the 2nd floor for the addition of a larger primary bedroom and ensuite.

Interior finishes and materials were chosen within a budget, while ensuring overall durability, quality, and safety of future occupants.

The front facade was updated to increase curb appeal while maintaining the arches to pay homage to its original design.
